Control the mouse to the keyboard - Ubuntu Linux.

If you have problems with your mouse, you can move the cursor to it using the keyboard and more specifically the numeric keypad.

1- Click the System menu, then Preferences.



2- Click on Accessibility Tools. 



3- Click Accessibility keyboard under Preferences. 



4- Open the tab Mouse Keys. 



5- Then check the box Allow control of the pointer using the numeric keypad. 



6- Click Close. You can then move the mouse using the numeric keypad. The 0 key emulates the left mouse button. Use the Menu key on the keyboard shortcut for right click.

Lock his computer in his absence - Ubuntu Linux.

When you leave a few minutes, you can lock your Linux computer so that nobody can access your data. Then you can find your session as you left it.
 
1- Simultaneously press the Ctrl, Alt and L.

2- Your session is locked and the screensaver started.
 
 
 3- When you return, move the mouse and enter your password. Click Unlock.


4- You find your session as you had left it: software running, open documents, etc..
